Depending on your geographical location within the United States or the world, you may or may not have been exposed to water polo. I certainly was not. In New York its too cold most of the time to consider playing “soccer in water”. However, upon meeting my partner Niki whom was a water polo extraordinaire, I quickly learned everything there is to know about the sport. When we lived in Budapest where it is very popular, we were able to see a few matches live. I was able to witness firsthand just how hard of a sport it is and what incredible shape the athletes must be in. However myself having never played, it is better explained by experienced player Niki Neumann, which luckily you can find in the video just above.
